Age: 30

Height: 5 ft. 2 in. (Still waiting to grow taller…I am not bitter at all…smile!)

Friends call me: Court, C. Payne, Courtney Mills, Payner

Occupation/Employer: Consumer Banking at Bank of America

Hometown: Mt. Airy, A.K.A “Mayberry”, based on The Andy Griffith Show (Haha, yes, it actually exists!)

What I’m looking for in a Guy: I like a real man’s man who appreciates the great outdoors as well as sports, one who is independent and confident in who he is and knows how to be himself, one who knows how to treat a lady, one who works hard and plays hard, knows how to laugh at himself and me, one who has high hopes in his profession and the future, and just enjoys life to the fullest maintaining a positive outlook on life no matter what is thrown his way!

Reality show I’m most likely to win: Don’t know, next question…

One book I could read over and over: The Glass Half Full

First thing I do in the morning: Hit snooze on my alarm clock a couple of times while allowing my brain to turn on…

First thing I hide when company drops by: Hmmm, I really don’t know, my house stays pretty neat and tidy.

Celebrity most likely to play me in a movie about my life: Rachael McAdams (she starred in the Notebook, among many other movies) with a sweet, southern accent, style, charm, and charisma, just like me…hey ya’al!

Song that always makes me dance: I have such an appreciation for music and have a very eclectic taste, so that’s really hard to narrow it down to just one song.  I would say that I love to rock it out to lots of different genres!

No one would ever believe that I once: Tried out for American Idol and Nashville Star, but as they say, “I am sticking to my day job”…smile.

The #1 dating rule I never break:  Not sure that sticking to a book of rules is the way to learn or live life

Most valuable possession:  Not sure possessions are all that valuable but my relationships with friends and family are invaluable to me and I am lucky and blessed to have many of these spread far and wide!

Favorite local restaurant: This is a tough question because I love to dine out and about and there are too many cool places to choose from…depends on my mood but here are just a few of my faves’…Custom Shop, Sullivan’s, Mac’s, Nikko, Cabo, Pewter Rose, Soul, 300 East, etc.

TV show I never miss:  I LOVE Grey’s Anatomy!

I knew I was a grown-up when: Still waiting for that…smile!

Most likely to be found at this local hang-out: Depends on my mood really, but I would say that you can typically find me at Connolly’s, Capital Grille, Sonoma, Phil’s throughout the week as I work in uptown.  On the weekend, well that runs the gamut because my girls live all over this fine city and why limit yourself to one area…I like places that Plaza Midwood, Dilworth, South Park, Ballyntyne, Lake Norman and Uptown all have to offer!

I can’t get enough of this guilty pleasure: Give me red wine and chocolate, or give me death!

Three things on my bucket list: Well it’s a big ole’ world out there with lots to see and do, but at this point in my life and without a whole lot of thought, I would say:

  1. Learning to play the guitar or violin
  2. Performing as lead singer in a local band
  3. Traveling to a foreign country on a mission trip to roll up my sleeves and help where people need it most
  4. Even after these 3, there is still much traveling and many things to do, so, I’m not planning on going anywhere anytime soon…

My greatest lifetime accomplishment, so far: I am not sure it is an accomplishment just yet, but I am sure giving it my best college try!  For quite some time now, I have been raising money in search of a cure for my younger brother’s illness, called Crohn’s Disease.  During the past 6 years, one of my dearest friends and I were able to create a Young Professionals Organization here in Charlotte for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, that hosts a wine event called Red, White, & Blues to raise funds in hopes of a cure and to help send young children and adolescents living with Crohn’s or Ulcerative Colitis to summer camp.  I have been inspired and amazed at how much money we have raised over the years and how many people have reached out to get involved.  Still in pursuit of a cure…

In five years I will mostly be on the cover of US Weekly magazine because: For becoming Brad Pitt’s 3rd girlfriend…

Favorite movie moment: Too many to chose from, but sort of drawn to the Gladiator where Russell Crow says “What we do in life, echoes in eternity!”

It’s annoying how good I am at: For just being downright awesome, heyyyyyyoooooo!!!!
