One book I could read over and over: Eat Pray Love
First thing I do in the morning: Turn on my computer, fix coffee and start working… in my pjs.
First thing I hide when company drops by: Honestly, there isn’t anything that I hide. I’m an open book and keep things pretty tidy. Well, maybe I would hide the five bottles of face mask on my bathroom counter. Just trying to combat the years folks.
Celebrity most likely to play me in a movie about my life: Sandra Bullock. She’s not by favorite actress, but I bet we could have some good times together. I like her style in real life.
Song that always makes me dance: Hands down, “Let’s Get Loud” by J Lo. Yep, dial goes to “10” every time. But, let’s keep that between me and you.
No one would ever believe that I once: Ate the legs of a guinea pig, slept in a chicken coop, dated a member of a now-huge rock band, and so on. I have about 1,000,000 answers for this question.
The #1 dating rule I never break: Go with your gut.
Most valuable possession: My passport.
Favorite local restaurant: Intermezzo. Best pizza I’ve ever eaten, plus they have half price martinis on Saturday nights.
TV show I never miss: Anything on E! Entertainment.
I knew I was a grown-up when: I was truly sad when my candidate didn’t win.
Most likely to be found at this local hang-out: I don’t really have one spot that I love the best but do prefer anywhere that has a laid back atmosphere. Put it this way, there are many places that I DON’T go.
I can’t get enough of this guilty pleasure: RED WINE. I’d keep it in an IV if I could.
Three things on my bucket list: Learn how to fix cars, learn how to trade the stock market (working on this one), and travel to Greece, hitting every tiny village along the way.
My greatest lifetime accomplishment, so far: Overall: Not regretting things I HAVEN’T done. I hardly ever turn down a fun opportunity. (Seriously, look at me… I’m on a stage in front of 600 people!)
Right now: I’m proud that I have recently gone out on a limb and am trying to fulfill my dream, career-wise. I started my own online publication and have worked day-in and day-out, without pay, for almost a year in hopes that this will catch on and give women all over the U.S. a “place” that is just for them.
In five years I will mostly be on the cover of MY OWN magazine because: My actual dream is to publish a book, have a magazine, or host a TV show. Seriously!
Favorite movie moment: Oh man. In Love Actually (which I watch and cry over every Christmas), there are two best friends and one girl. One of the guys marries the girl, but his best friend is in love with her too. When the husband isn’t around, the best friend rings the doorbell. When she answers, he stands there in silence, turns on Christmas music, and shows the girl placards with notes on them. He tells her, through the placards only, that he’s totally in love with her but that he knows that he’ll never have her, and then he turns off the music and walks away. I cry like CRAZY every time I see it!! Sighhhh…
It’s annoying how good I am at: Telling you exactly what I’m thinking. It’s a blessing and a curse at once. (Oh, and I am really good at mowing the yard as well. It’s my favorite pastime…sadly.)
